You will recruit and retain tenants to SCVO’s shared office spaces and act as first point of contact for tenants, visitors and staff based in the Inverness office, and deliver excellent in-person customer service.

You will have experience in dealing with a range of people confidently and ideally have previous experience engaging, vetting and appointing appropriate contractors to carry out works to ensure our offices remain compliant and effective environments.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities and Property Manager to manage our property estate including: buildings, equipment, health and safety and our commercial property services. The role is based in our Edinburgh office, within the impressive Mansfield Traquair Centre and will involve delivering a modern facilities service to internal and external customers across our buildings portfolio, promoting excellence in customer service and managing the facilities team.

We’re looking for an experienced service manager with a strong background in delivering large contracts and services to ensure the continued successful delivery of Connecting Scotland. Ideally you will have experience of quality assurance, process improvement and compliance as well as a strong understanding of approaches to monitoring and evaluation.

Connecting Scotland is a major programme developed as a result of the pandemic to support people who are digitally excluded to get online. Working with hundreds of partners in communities across Scotland, people are provided with a combination of devices, internet connectivity and digital skills support to help them with learning, life and work during the pandemic. Connecting Scotland is funded by the Scottish Government and supported by all Scotland’s Local Authorities, as well as hundreds of organisations from across the public, private and third sectors.

This post will be responsible for managing the Connecting Scotland service and leading the team and suppliers responsible for providing support to both partner organisations and end users.

SCVO provides employment support and employability programmes for young people aged 16-29, working with third sector organisations across Scotland. In April we will be launching another phase of Community Jobs Scotland funded by Scottish Government, as well as providing jobs and support through the Kickstart Scheme.

To support our service delivery we are recruiting for an Account Manager who will be responsible for ensuring processes are fulfilled within timescales to meet audit requirements and ensuring targets/outcomes are met and delivered within programme guidelines.

The successful candidate will work within a busy small team managing a caseload of jobs, maintaining strong relationships with third sector employers and helping to ensure the programme is a success for all stakeholders.
