- Up to 7 hours per shift, between 0830h and 1800h. Two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch break.

The successful candidate will:
Clean and restock public toilets.
Litter-pick, poop-scoop and empty bins.
Identify, remove and dispose of invasive species.
Maintain herbaceous borders by bringing on seeds, cultivation, planting out, weeding and watering.
Maintain paths and benches, rake leaves, and general horticultural tasks.
Any other ad hoc tasks as required, relevant to the maintenance of the park.
The successful candidate will be committed to horticulture and working outdoors come rain or shine.
They will have excellent timekeeping and be willing to follow instructions.
A high level of behaviour is required in this position, with strict rules on smoking, uniform and being helpful to visitors.
The successful candidate must be willing to learn, improve their employability, and be a supportive member of a happy and hard-working team. Over time it is expected that the successful candidate will show initiative in completeing regular tasks and identifying issues that need attention.
Additional informationPVG checks will be conducted for employees who demonstrate the skills to take supervisory responsibility for particular tasks and groups.
