Aims & objectivesWe aim to work with existing services to support people as they move from homelessness to a tenancy. We assist previously homeless individuals maintain their tenancy by: providing packs of essential household items; providing assistance with cleaning, decorating & odd jobs as required; providing a befriending service.

Assisting in the sorting, preparation and organising of furniture and goods arriving at and departing from warehouses and safe movement between.
Contributing to the general maintenance of the warehouses and surrounding area.
Basic record keeping
Communicating with other members of the team.
Conducting yourself in a courteous manner when dealing with the public and your colleagues and representing New Start in a positive way.
To carry out agreed tasks, or to tell the appropriate person if you are unable, for any reason, to do so.
Any information you may be entrusted with relating to users of the service must be treated as confidential.
To uphold the standards and quality of service expected of New Start.
To attend support, training and supervision sessions appropriate to your role.
To be familiar with and abide by the Policies and Procedures of New Start.
