We also aim to relieve the stress and anxiety of families and carers. Cosgrove Care was established in 1962 to support adults with learning disabilities primarily within the Jewish community, but since that time the range of services has been greatly increased, particularly the expanded services for children.

Main purpose of post
You will be a first point of contact in our local office. Carrying out general administration duties including dealing with staff and service users on the phone and face to face. You will support the running of our local office in Airdrie, undertaking basic administrative duties and office based tasks.
1.Support the delivery of the administration function of our local office in Airdrie.
Supporting the Operational, Finance, HR, Training, Fundraising and Volunteering teams as required.
2.Providing a reception service to visitors to the Office acting as a key point of contact and answering phones.
3.Responsibility for keeping the main office area tidy and organised and free from clutter.
4.Monitoring and ordering of office and catering supplies.
5.Responsible for arranging bookings and preparing for the meetings in respect of the organising of a meeting room.
6.Prepare basic letters, with responsibility for file maintenance and accuracy.
7.Support to the Fundraising and Volunteering functions in respect of organising and preparing for events through preparing PR materials.
8.General customer service, taking calls, collating and forwarding information and queries as appropriate.
9.General office duties, logging Mail, dealing with and acting on routine queries and enquiries.
10.Work collaboratively with other members of the local and administration team to support staff in their duties.
11.Assist with the social media presence of the local team.
•To maintain and develop Cosgrove’s culture, values, reputation with all staff and stakeholders.
•To ensure that all processes are followed in line with Cosgrove policies and procedures.
•Occasional requirement to work unsociable hours.

Secondary school (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths.
You will be have experience of working with computers and a good telephone manner.
