Job description

 Offer administration support to other staff working on the projects, to include maintaining accurate, confidential records in keeping with the CAB service requirements.

 Maintaining any databases that the project workers use and ensure that any savings made to clients following advice/assistance are recorded.

 With the support of the project workers, implement client triage procedures, handle incoming/outgoing mail, manage appointments & update the project calendar.

 To assist with the promotion & marketing of the projects through production of information leaflets/flyers/press releases and social media and to assist in the distribution of materials.

 To assist the project workers at presentations to outside agencies by ensuring all material required is produced & available in advance of the presentation.

 To assist the project workers with training for volunteers, other advisers & outside agencies in order to increase knowledge of these issues.

 Attend and take minutes of project meetings & circulate minutes to all involved.

 Report to the Project workers & Project Supervisor

Person specification

 Good standard of general education

 Good knowledge of Microsoft software and related packages

 Experience in office systems and procedures would be an advantage

 Good spoken & written communication skills

 Ability to work as part of a team

 Organisational & good time management skills

 Ability to work in a busy office environment

 Able to follow instructions and use initiative as appropriate

 Honest and trustworthy

 Respect for confidential information

 Commitment to team working
