Post holder assists in effective implementation of all duties within the organisation including the cook school, training department and office. The post holder will have a particular emphasis on the administrative functions within the organisation eg telephone and reception duties, handling of all bookings, updating website and social media, supporting all administrative requirements of the board of directors and the cooking tutors, devising new administrative systems to capture data and produce reports, meet deadlines and targets set and controlled by organisational calendar of events.
Principal Accountabilities / Key Tasks
General Duties – Assistance will be required across the organisation to support the management team, Training officers, Administrative staff and the board of directors.
General Administration in accordance with defined guidelines and procedures
Data Management - maintaining all information kept within the organisation in accordance with Data Protection requirements (training will be provided)
Communication - Main front line contact for all external and internal contacts to the organisation.
ICT – produce reports, leaflets posters graphs etc.
Social media – Assistance to ensure daily social media presence across all platforms.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge
Reasonable standard of education -
Experience of Microsoft software packages
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confident with people
Experience not required as training will be given in all aspects of the job. A positive and flexible attitude to working is essential along with a willingness to learn and take responsibility.
