Aims & objectivesPUSH = People United for Special Housing. PUSH set out as a parent-led organisation concerned about quality lives for men and women in Perth & Kinross who have a learning disability label. PUSH is concerned about how and where people with learning disablities live. PUSH provides support to families by providing information, helping people plan and make decisions together, and facilitating circles of support with a person centred approach.

- £6.15 - £8.21 per hour depending on age
The employee will work in a retail environment completing tasks such as processing stock; this involves, sorting, deciding on waste and cleabning products. Serving customers; this involves using a cash register, answering the phone and being able to answer any questions that a customer may have. Working as part of a team the employee will have to support other volunteers/trainees to complete tasks.
In addition to the retail environment the employee will als help to maintain our online presence by listing items on eBay, Gumtree or Facebook. This will involve using the internet to research, take photos, write descriptives and package items for mailing.
PUSH is looking for someone who is creative, patient, tolerant, reliable and open-minded, who can use their own initiative and is not afraid to take responsibility, can work flexible hours when required, who likes a challenge, who enjoys working with people, who is a good listener and someone who is passionate about ‘inclusion’ for people with learning disabilities.
Experience of selling on line is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
