Job description

Introduction to Sported

Across Scotland, hundreds of grassroots organisations are using the power of sport to address the pressing issues faced by disadvantaged young people and their communities. These groups are often volunteer lead, under-resourced and regularly face significant threats to their survival.

Sported works with almost 200 of these groups across 29 local authorities in Scotland, who themselves reach almost 40,000 Scottish young people every year. We provide these local heroes with free, vital support to improve their skills, capacity and sustainability - this help is often the difference between them surviving or closing down.
