Joining SCVO's free legal service for #PBW18

Charities and philanthropy are at the heart of our business. Each year Gillespie Macandrew donates 1% of their pre-tax profits to charitable causes, which over the past three years has topped £80,000.  Our own charities and not for profit legal team is skilled and experienced and regularly advises on all aspects of charity law including the setting up of charitable organisations, good governance, employment law, amalgamations, commercial property, reorganisation, incorporations and windups and OSCR enquiries. Through our wider business, which serves a large number of wealthy individuals and trusts, we are fortunate enough to advise some of the most generous individuals and organisations in Scotland and we recognise this privileged role in supporting their charitable endeavours.  We are committed to providing a high level of service to all of our charity clients and take time to understand their individual circumstances. Our charity team combines significant sector knowledge and exceptional technical skills and we are confident in our ability to get the best outcomes for our clients.  We are looking forward to strengthening our relationship with the SCVO and we value their continued commitment to championing charitable causes.  They have provided strong leadership and a voice for the third sector and we are proud to support their work and take an active role in the provision of their free legal service for their members which is celebrating its 10^th birthday this Pro Bono Week.
