The best way to predict the future is to invent it
Applied Futurologist Tom Cheesewright spoke at February’s Gathering, and we now have the report on that session available for you to read.
Tom highlighted what will affect our sector and those we work with – demographic change, technology change, changes in the way we work… And the audience responded with thoughts and concerns. There were considerable threats for the sector, but also many opportunities: the use of new technology to improve mental and physical health; connecting people in communities and encouraging asset-based approaches; a further role for the third sector in delivering public services in a creative way.
