Journeys in Digital

Over the past year we've been amazed at the breadth and creativity of activity taking place across Scotland to help people get online and gain Basic Digital Skills. Some projects and stories we are able to share on our website, other's we're able to share via our audiences at DigiScotFest, The Gathering and Third Sector Summit.  Next week we get together and spend the day with almost 100 Challenge recipients and Charter signatories to work with them on their digital journeys and I'm personally over the moon at the prospect of sharing a table with some really inspirational people at the Charity Awards on June 4th. To help us get a sense of the picture across Scotland we're in the middle of developing a short report - I did hear it called a 'pamphlet' a few days ago.  Here we are going to showcase the key information we've found out about Digital Participation in Scotland so far. So this all adds up to an exciting and dynamic picture which we're involved in.  We're delighted to be able to say that this is being recognised across the UK too.  DigitalLeaders100 has ten categories ranging from Digital Council of the Year - Aberdeen City Council is shortlisted, through Best Health or Social Care Product or Service - ALISS is here, to Best Digital Inclusion Product or Service  - where SCVO is delighted to have been shortlisted.  If you'd like to show your love for any of the awesome nominees and maybe give a Scottish flavour to the awards ceremony - don't let us stop you!
