Community, collaboration and citizens advice
Hosted by Citizens Advice Scotland
Date: Thursday 21 February
Time: 9.30am – 10.30am
Room: Seminar Suite
Using information sourced from across the Citizens Advice service in Scotland, we will be sharing examples of some of the more innovative ways local communities work together to provide support for people in need. This will consider ways to target different parts of the community, e.g. those who access health and social care services; low income families; older people; unemployed, etc.
The event will also include an opportunity for you to talk to other attendees, to hear about and get to discuss some different ways of doing things. It will focus on small practical steps that taken together can really make a difference to the people who need help the most.
