Working together to deliver service change

Hosted by Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK

Date: Thursday 21 February
Time: 3pm – 4pm
Room: Alsh Suite 2

The National Cancer Diagnosis Audit (NCDA) is a joint project lead by Cancer Research, with support from Macmillan Cancer Support, Royal College of GPS, and NHS and Government partners, which sets out to provide new insights that will inform service improvements that in turn help to diagnose cancers earlier and improve cancer outcomes.

The data gathered contributes to improving health outcomes locally and addressing variation between GP practices. The NCDA works is delivered through a broad range of partners closely collaborating from third sector, Royal College of GPs, NHS and Government partners and academics.

In this session we will look at how to maximise impact through partnership working like this, and consider how you can use data to inform and drive service change at GP practice, local, regional and national levels.
