Citizens Advice Scotland
Citizens Advice Scotland’s “EU Citizens Support Service” is able to provide free, confidential and impartial advice to EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and their family members to provide information and advice on the EU Settlement Scheme.
The EU Settlement Scheme is administered by the UK Government and is part of the Withdrawal Agreement Bill (Brexit deal). The Scheme is a UK Home Office application process that nearly all EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and their family members must complete to be able to stay lawfully in the UK after we leave the EU
There are 59 Citizens Advice Bureaux in Scotland and each one is able to provide information and advice on the EU Settlement Scheme. We also have a team of 27 specialist advisers which are spread across the country, a solicitor-led service to deal with complex cases and a national helpline. The national helpline number is 0800 916 9847 and is open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday.
