National Records of Scotland
National Records of Scotland (NRS) collects, analyses and publishes a wide range of information about Scotland’s people and how we live. This includes population estimates and projections, life expectancy, migration, households and vital events (births, deaths and marriages).
We are also responsible for undertaking Scotland’s Census and the next one is due to take place in March 2021.
Our exhibition stand at The Gathering will:
- highlight our statistics and the range of information we publish, free of charge, which is available to the third sector and others
- raise awareness of our plans for Scotland’s Census 2021
- and the ways we can explore opportunities for working with the third sector as we plan for the next census e.g. working together to connect with Scotland’s communities.
