The Scottish Parliament
The Scottish Parliament is Scotland’s national legislature. The Parliament holds the Scottish Government to account on behalf of the people of Scotland. Now in our twentieth year, staff at the Parliament continue to value the third sector as key partners in ensuring that the views of people and communities across Scotland are heard at Holyrood. ‘Lived experience’ is crucial to everything we do. By working in partnership with third sector organisations in local communities, we can help people who otherwise wouldn’t engage to bring their views and insight to the attention of MSPs and parliamentary committees. Staff from the Parliament’s Community Outreach Team and Committee Engagement Unit will be on hand to answer any questions you might have, and to let you know how local charities, voluntary groups, community organisations and individuals can have their voices heard on issues that matter to you.
