Aims & objectives

We aim to enable 14-25 year olds in the Highlands of Scotland to identify and fulfil their potential. We provide local enjoyable social and learning activities on a refurbished bus with a music studio and teaching/social area and we work in six remote communities. We provide opportunities for young people to develop their music skills either as a therapeutic activity or as a way of earning an income, opportunities to learn from professionals in the music industry, opportunities to stage their own events from design through to evaluation, and opportunities to overcome barriers to their development and so move forward into a positive and productive future. Our activities include informal sessions on the bus, formal courses, events, specialist workshops, shadowing opportunities, one-to-one music work, counselling, life planning workshops and one-to-one support on issues including accessing college courses and applying for a job.
