Aims & objectivesRemake Scotland is a Crieff based community reuse charity with a scrapstore and is run by local volunteers and staff. Remake's mission is to promote the reuse of materials for the benefit of the local community. Remake believes in a sustainable Scotland where people and the planet can all benefit through creativity and reuse. Remake runs a number of projects including Remake Community Reuse & Repair, Remake Futures (employability & work skills) plus a volunteer programme. Remake works with over 40 volunteers from a variety of ages, abilities and backgrounds and we have a particular focus on promoting intergenerational community building and skills sharing.

Manual work such as lifting boxes and furniture.
Providing support to the Driver when collecting items from a depot, warehouse or pick-up point.
Providing support to the Driver with loading and unloading the vehicle.
Providing support to sort and layout an ever changing stock of furniture.
Providing support to assess and prepare items for sale following relevant procedures.
Using tools to prepare and repair furniture.
Keeping all areas, including the kitchen and toilets, clean and tidy.
Keeping all areas tidy and free of clutter; compliant with Health & Safety and fire regulations.
Helping to unload and sort craft materials and furniture.
Team Interaction and Support:
Supporting Remake Team Members, whether Employees, Volunteers, Board Members or Short Term Work Placements, wherever needed to ensure that on a day to day basis we (as a Team) deliver the Aims and Objectives to the individuals, organisations, clubs and companies within the community.
