Recruitment Costs: an examination of the range and scope of recruitment advertisements for voluntary and community sector posts
The research provides an examination of the range and scope of recruitment advertisements for voluntary and community sector posts in Northern Ireland. There is a focus on the range and scope of recruitment advertising placed in the Belfast Telegraph Job Finder pertaining to voluntary and community organisations, to determine an overall estimate of advertising costs and the extent to which organisations exercise cost effective recruitment advertising. Information on job title, salary, length of contract, hours of work, qualifications and experience, as well as funding information was collated over a period of 15 weeks, from 6 September - 13 December 2002. The research also looks at recruitment advertisements placed in the Irish News during the period as a means of comparing advertising costs.
