The Barracks Conference Centre Stirling
Opened in 2019, The Barracks is The Robertson Trust’s new charity hub offering high quality, affordable meeting room and office space, with discounted rates for the Third Sector.
Situated beside Stirling train station, there are seven flexible and accessible meeting rooms, including the Robertson Conference Suite, which can hold up to 150 people. With excellent transport links across Scotland, it is hoped that this will become a conference centre of national significance for Scotland’s Third Sector.
In addition to meeting room space, the Barracks also offers an on-site café, serviced reception desk and various breakout areas with network access. There are also 9 tenants based permanently in the building, including Aberlour, Stirling Heritage Trust, and Paths for All
The Robertson Trust is the largest independent grant making Trust in Scotland and The Barracks development reflects its commitment to supporting Scotland’s Third Sector in ways which extend beyond traditional grant making. In 2013, the Trust opened Robertson House in Glasgow, which is now home to 27 Third Sector tenants and attracts over 7000 visits per year for events and meetings. The building offers a unique environment for Scotland’s Third Sector to connect, work and grow together.
